Caught with narcotics, Taufik Hidayat Arrested

After last week arrested two members of parliament because of  Semarang caught storing methamphetamine in the inn, now the range of DIT Reksrim Bali Police had another big catch more than a drug courier named Taufik Hidayat, who arrested his rented room at Jalan Kebo Iwa, Denpasar, on Monday (07/02/2011). Taufik Hidayat is an unemployed youth who were  seeking work in Bali.

Initially the police found a package of methamphetamine in the suspect left pants pocket , after police searched a dorm room, the police managed to secure a package of shabu weighing 35 grams and 215 grain 20,46 ectasy. The suspect admitted prior to his job as a courier, he has received compensation amounting to Rp. 500.000 from the dealer that he knew in Jalan Gunung Agung, Denpasar them.

Now the Bali Police Department still do the pursuit of dealers who supply goods to the suspect. For the offense, the suspect charged Article 112 Paragraph (2) of Law number 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
